Time to Wed
The wedding dress is made of custom printed fabric featuring the wedding vows of its creators. It is embellished with antique clock parts and bead embroidery. The crown and veil are copper with a variety of antique clock hands.
Size 72"x30".
Clockwork Angel
Built over a one hundred year old French mannequin, the project features hundreds of found antique objects combined with bead embroidery. The wings and dress feature custom designed fabric with quotations from the author's books.
Pistolero
Created for the Steampunk Springfield Show, this bead embroidered leather jacket, corset and skull cap pay tribute to the nation's first arms manufacturer Smith and Wesson. It was part of an exhibit called Fifty Firsts that commemorated first in the nation things that happened in the city of Springfield, Massachusetts.
One Giant Step for Brockton
The model (from top to bottom) is wearing a leather skull cap with WW2 era headphones. Her shrug top is repurposed from an antique table cloth, the corset is made of etched copper and the pants are pearlized leather. This piece was featured in the show Steampunk Brockton at The Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton Massachucetts.
